I was a bit disappointed this year as the house was great, but we were told the dishwasher would not be fixed until Tuesday afternoon, so of course we did not use it. Turns out the dishwasher was working the entire time but no one bothered to tell us nor that the handyman was not coming. So...5 adult and 4 kids, we spent days hand washing and then had someone hanging around to meet a handyman that never showed.
We pay too much money for the house to have this happen.

Great location, single family home on the boardwalk with enough space from it to have privacy. However, unit wasn't cleaned very well, every trashcan was full on our arrival, items broken and needed repair. Hot water was sporadic, air conditioner needs to be upgraded/serviced. I would rent with Berger again, but not this property.

Probably one of the best properties in OC for the price and location. Several upgrades over the last couple of years only add to its value! Five bedrooms, 2 kitchens , and 4 living areas right on the beach - far enough and yet close enough to all the action!

Overall, Great, but there Lots of "little things" that need to be tended to. Like a light out in the shower, lots of bad bulbs, lights out. A "funny" smell as you entered the downstairs Kitchen. Dishwasher, Didn't Wash the Dishes. BUT, I'd rent this property again next year. Location, Location, Location and PARKING. Ellen was OUTSANDING, Patient, Attentive, Knowledgeable, quick to Respond.
